Early mid century Dümler & Breiden 0.5L ceramic stein from Germany in cobalt blue and cream with raised-relief depiction of Gambrinus - a European mythical king of brewing and joviality.
The bottom of the stein has the D & B crossed swords and HOHR impressed, which was the pottery mark used by Dümler & Breiden from around 1930 to 1936. The mold number is 2101.
The stein stands 15.5 cm (6.1") tall with a base diameter of 9.5 cm (3.75") and a top opening of 8 cm (3.1), measuring about 14 cm (5.5") wide with the handle. It is in very good vintage condition, showing minimal signs of use, and is free of chips, cracks or repairs. It appears as manufactured without a lid and there are no signs on the handle to indicate that there was a handle attached in the past.
