Early mid century (1934-1950) rare shape Aynsley teacup and saucer in good vintage condition.
There are no stains inside, chips, cracks, repairs or noticeable crazing.
Minor scuffing on the base of the cup and minimal loss to the gold trim on the edges. The colors are vibrant and the floral pattern is uplifting.
Both the cup and the saucer ping well. The bottom is marked B4094.
The set stands 7.25 cm (2.9") tall. The top diameter of the cup is 8 cm (3.1") wide. The cup is 10.5 cm (4.1") wide from rim to handle. The saucer is 13.5 cm (5.3") in diameter.
