Set of 2, matching pair of 1980s BODUM brand glass mugs with removable white plastic handles and silkscreen image of a monkey using his foot to push down the plunger of a French press. I think these cups were part of a campaign to demonstrate how easy it was to make coffee with a BODUM coffee maker: "So easy even a monkey could do it!"
The mugs are in their original box which has No: 4512 printed on it. There aren't signs of frequent previous use. The plastic handles are clean, the coasters are stain free and the glasses are not chipped or scratched.
Each mug stands 12.5 cm (4.9") tall with the coaster. The top diameter is 7 cm (2.75") and the width is 9 cm (3.5") with the handles.
