Rare light eggshell porcelain demitasse kutani teacup and saucer from Japan in moriage style painting with solid lines that are filled with enamel and gold.
I believe the painting is depicting a female deity with two male immortals.
The set is in vintage condition showing signs of wear consistent with its age. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
The cup stands 5.5 cm (2.16") tall and has a 5.25 cm (2.06") top opening. It measures 7.5 cm (3") wide with the handle. The diameter of the saucer is 11 cm (4.3"). The holding capacity of the cup is about 90 milliliters.
