Large hand-painted Royal Doulton 'Sir John Falstaff' toby jug in good vintage condition.
It is 16 cm tall, 19 cm wide with the handle and 14 cm deep, weighing about 800 grams unpacked.
There are no chips, cracks, repairs or noticeable crazing. The underside has the standard marking that was introduced circa 1930 and was used till the early 1990s. This particular character was copyrighted in 1949 and has the D 6287 code.
