Set of 4 mid century hand-painted crackleware ceramic wall plates from Italy, depicting roosters, in vintage condition.
The 4 plates together weigh about 2.4 kg unpacked. Each plate is 24.5 cm (9 3/4") wide, and the backside is marked 'M. ITALY' with two pin holes for hanging the plates on a wall.
There are no chips, repairs or crazing. The cracked pattern is deliberately done as part of the crackleware look.
