Mid century modern abstract design ceramic vase by Herta Gertz, who emigrated to Canada from Germany in the 1950s, and founded BC Ceramics in Vancouver.
The vase is in good vintage condition, free of chips, cracks or repairs.
It is 18 cm tall, 14 cm wide and 14 cm deep, weighing about 580 grams unpacked.
The underside is signed 'HAND-DECOR BY HERTA' and marked 'VANCOUVER BC 2421'.
