Rare mid century handcrafted 1960s French copper brutalist swag lamp in good vintage condition.
It is composed of 8 curved copper plates geometrically arranged to nicely diffuse the light and give the impression of a reddish orange glow across the metal parts.
It is 35 cm tall, 24 cm wide and 24 cm deep, weighing about 2 kg unpacked.
There are no broken or repaired parts. The wiring seems original and is for North America. It has a pull string switch inside by the bulb sicket. The plug is missing the small circular cover, as shown in the pictures.
This lamp is sold in 'as is/as found' condition, and it is recommended to have the original wiring checked by a qualified electrician to see if it meets local electrical codes.
