Exquisite vintage BENJARONG porcelain vase from Thailand, meticulously hand-painted and gilt-enameled in traditional pikul flower pattern.

The name 'Benjarong' comes from Sanskrit with "benja' meaning 5 and 'rong' meaning color, in refernce to the five-color palette that has traditionally been used to make these unique pieces.

It is 27 cm (10.5") tall, and 11.5 cm (4.5") wide & deep, weighing about 1 kg unpacked.

The underside is marked 'Made in Thailand.'

Very good vintage condition with vibrant colors, showing minimal signs of surface wear. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
