









Soviet era 1970s hand-painted Polonne porcelain figurine from Ukraine in good vintage condition.
The design of this figurine is said to be inspired by Nikolai Gogol's 1831 novel 'The May Night', representing the lovers, Galya and Levko, wearing traditional Ukrainian attire.
It is 27 cm (10.5") tall, 12 cm (4.7") wide and 11 cm (4.3") deep, weighing slightly over 1 kg unpacked.
The underside is marked.
There are no chips, cracks, repairs or visible crazing.
