Highly collectible unmarked Nippon moriage pedestal posy vase with handles in good antique condition, depicting two hand-painted floral panels and ruffled crown rim.
It is about 8 cm tall, wide and deep.
The beading is in exquisite condition, and the beads are neither the same size nor are they in a straight line, which is indicative of genuine hand-application.
The underside is unmarked, and it is possible that this piece is pre 1890s.
Although it is hard to see in the pictures, there is a dark blue puddle mark on the inside surface, which looks like dried ink from the days when this mini Vase may have been used as an inkwell.
There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
Please view the pictures carefully and let us know if you have any questions.
