Vintage 1980s gooseneck desk lamp, featuring a striking bright yellow finish and a flexible black ribbed neck that captures the playful, geometric aesthetic of the Memphis Milano and Postmodern era.
Manufactured in Taiwan during the golden age of export lighting, this piece is wired for North America.
It stands 42 cm tall, when the neck is fully extended up, and 33 cm tall bent normally toward the top of the desk. The base diameter is 14 cm, and the lamp weighs slightly over 1 kg unpacked.
It is in good vintage condition,showing minimal signs of previous use and surface wear. There is a hard to see tiny ding toward the switch on the top of the shade, which is pointed at with a red arrow in one of the pictures.
