Vintage AK Kaiser German Porcelain Bird Figurine – Model UN 460.
Charming mid-century porcelain figurine by AK Kaiser (West Germany), designed by artist Ursula Netzsch, featuring a detailed, hand-painted pair of blue birds perched on a branch.
It is 8.5 cm tall, 12 cm wide and 9 cm deep.
This figurine was issued between 1967 and 1970. The specific blue "AK" underglaze crown logo on the underside was introduced by the factory in 1967, and Ursula Netzsch designed this specific bird collection (models in the 400-range, like UN 460 and UN 469) during the late 1960s. The logo, the artist's name and the model number are on the underside.
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Glaze is bright and vivid. Please see all photos for details, and let us know if you have any questions.
