An authentic, heirloom-quality early 20th-century art pottery vase crafted by the historic Fulper Pottery Company (Flemington, New Jersey). This exquisite inverted-baluster piece beautifully captures the soul of the American Arts & Crafts / Mission movement. It showcases a striking, high-gloss blue-green turquoise flamed drip glaze that gracefully transitions into warmer, earthy olive tones around the flared rim and handles.
It measures 20 cm tall, 13 cm wide and 13 cm deep, weighing about 900 grams unpacked.
The base features a deeply struck and vertically oriented impressed "Racetrack" mark. This specific physical clay-impressed variant securely dates the production of this vase between 1916 and 1927, representing the absolute golden era of Fulper art pottery.
The glaze retains stunning depth, brilliance, and high-gloss reflectivity. There are no cracks, hairlines, structural breaks, or cosmetic repairs anywhere on the body, handles, or rim. As clearly highlighted in the photos, there are minor glaze flakes and chips located strictly along the rough, unglazed dry-foot ring on the underside. These are entirely localized to the resting footprint, very common for heavy slip-cast pottery of this age, and do not affect the stability, display value, or front-facing beauty of the vase.
