Iconic mid-century design Baribocraft apple-shaped ice bucket, crafted in Canada during the 1960s/1970s. This highly collectible piece features a beautiful, warm walnut wood grain in a distinct segmented block pattern and shaped perfectly like a stylized apple complete with its original wooden stem handle.
This item is a complete set that includes the original insulated metal liner insert and the matching vintage metal ice tongs. It is ready for your next retro cocktail party or as a standout display piece on a bar cart.
It is about 25.5 cm tall, 23 cm wide and 23 cm deep, weighing a hefty 2.7 kg unpacked.
Condition Report:
This set is in good vintage condition with beautiful wood patina, but does show minor signs of age and wear:
There is a small, minor chip on the inside lip/rim of the wooden base (hidden when the lid is on).
The original insulating cork seal on the underside of the lid has a small tear/rip (see photos).
The metal liner and tongs show light vintage character/oxidization consistent with age but are fully intact and functional.
Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
Sold as-is, and as-shown.
