Vintage Aynsley porcelain teacup and saucer set, handcrafted in Longton, England circa 1930s to 1950s, featuring a deep, glossy royal cobalt blue exterior with a brilliant, hand-finished gold gilt overlay. The interior of the cup boasts an elegant, stylized golden leaf filigree framing the pristine ivory center, complete with a graceful corset silhouette and matching scalloped saucer.

Hand-painted gold pattern code C1271 on the underside of the cup.

Approx. 2.75" tall x 3.5" wide mouth diameter
Saucer Measurements:
Approx. 5.5" diameter
CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. The original green factory backstamp is crisp and legible on both the cup and saucer bases. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. The rich cobalt blue glaze and metallic gold filigree borders remain exceptionally vibrant and clean. There is minor wear on the gold trim that consistent with age. Both the cup and the saucer ping well.
