Numbered "5." on the back, this collector's item portrays a traditional market scene detailing historical merchants during the golden age of Dutch international maritime trade. The ornate floral rim encompasses a rhyming Old Dutch poem: “Strip Dienaers Siet de Vrou is Neets Aent Verkoopen. De Weevers t Boosvolck En Elck Willent Huys Afloopen.”
