Rare antique Royal Doulton oval teapot stand.

Part of the highly sought-after Falconry Series Ware collection, the central design features detailed medieval hunters on horseback practicing falconry against a fortified castle backdrop. The outer edge is elegantly framed by Royal Doulton's iconic blue transferware scroll and geometric border.

The back features a clear "Falconry Royal Doulton Burslem England" circular maker's mark topped with the historical "Nile St." stamp, alongside hand-painted pattern ledger notations (D3696 / 23). Perfect as a gap-filler for an antique shelf display or for casual everyday use as a rustic kitchen accent.

Please review all photos carefully before purchasing. This piece features a significant, historic loss of ceramic material along the rim edge consisting of two adjacent shallow flakes/chips. The dark brown unglazed earthenware body is exposed at this spot. The damage is visible from both the reverse side and wraps slightly onto the front display edge. Aside from this notable rim injury, the remainder of the tile shows stable, age-appropriate surface wear and crazing.

This item has been priced down significantly to reflect these conditional flaws.
