Vintage 1960s mid-century Chinoiserie blue and white porcelain bowl.
Hand-painted in the traditional 17th-century Late Ming Dynasty "Kraak" style, this decorative dish features a beautiful central medallion depicting a bird perched on a rock surrounded by blossoming flowers and foliage. The scalloped rim is framed by a distinct brown-painted edge and split into classic alternating paneled cartouches.
The underside features a handwritten underglaze blue vertical studio mark reading 'Longquan Kiln', a classic mark used by mid-century export studios reviving traditional designs.
It is 25 cm wide in diameter, 4.5 cm tall, weighing about 850 grams unpacked.
Very good vintage condition without any chips, cracks, or repairs. Glaze is bright, glossy, and clean.
