An exceptional matching pair of mid-20th-century vintage porcelain mantle vases, beautifully hand-painted with traditional themes. This pair features an elegant, classic pastoral motif. One vase depicts a detailed hunting scene with a hunter and his dog tracking game through an autumn wood. The companion vase portrays a serene, romanticized scene of a resting traveler or youth nestled in a matching forest landscape.
Each vase features a soft blue and cream gradient sky, finely blended autumnal foliage, a brown banded base, and an elegant gold gilt rim. The bottoms feature a characteristic vintage gold-stamped floral/clover decorator insignia from the mid-century workshop.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition overall. The hand-painted graphics remain bright and crisp without excessive surface scratches or fading. The gold gilt on the rims shows minor, age-appropriate shelf wear. One vase features a small, shallow flake chip on the unglazed bottom foot rim (as pictured); this is completely hidden when the vase is standing upright and does not affect the structural integrity or display value of the piece. No other chips, cracks, or crazing present.
