Authentic 1970s mid-century modern centerpiece bowl from the iconic Blue Mountain Pottery (BMP) of Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.
Featuring BMP’s highly collectible and harder-to-find turquoise and dark brown drip glaze, this piece showcases a beautiful fluid transition of colors. The dramatic scalloped, wavy rim mimics a blooming flower, making it a standalone statement piece or functional serving bowl.
The bottom is fully marked with the authentic incised Blue Mountain Pottery logo featuring the three stylized pine trees and "CANADA," along with the characteristic unglazed red clay rim.
It is 3" tall and 10" in diameter, weighing about 1 kg unpacked.
CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The glaze retains its original high-gloss shine. Minor crazing may be present upon close inspection, which is standard and expected for Canadian pottery of this era.
