Set of three (3) vintage Cold War era GDR porcelain dishes, crafted in Thuringia, East Germany, by the historic manufacturer JLMENAU (Graf von Henneberg Porzellan).
Each dish features an exquisite swirled, heavily scalloped rim accented with brilliant, thick gold gilding. The centers are decorated with a striking, metallic golden-orange floral bouquet that catches the light beautifully.
Because each piece was finished by hand, the bottom of each bowl features its own unique handwritten decorator and pattern numbers under the official green underglaze factory backstamp.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 15 cm (approx. 5.9 inches) each
Shape: Deep scalloped/swirled bowl shape
Weight: Approx. 180 grams each
CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. The porcelain remains crisp and bright white, and the central floral decals are vibrant. The heavy gold-gilded rims display good luster with only minimal, age-appropriate wear.
