Vintage, hand-carved Guatemalan wood mask of a "Tigre" (tiger/jaguar), featuring vibrant hand-painted red and white stripes, characteristic pointed ears, and mesmerizing inset blue glass eyes.
The backside has an authentic "MADE IN GUATEMALA" ink stamp alongside visible gouge marks left by the artisan’s hand-carving tools.

Condition Note:
It has an authentic, time-worn patina. There is minor paint wear on the prominent forward edges of the snout and teeth (as pictured), which adds beautifully to its rustic folk art character. The wood structure is solid, and both blue glass eyes are fully intact. It comes with the original orange hanging twine attached.
