Vintage Mdina Glass "Squat Bark" vase.
Designed in the early 1970s by iconic glassmaker Michael Harris in Malta, this piece beautifully captures his signature "Sea and Sand" aesthetic.
The vase has a heavy, rugged exterior designed to mimic the natural texture of tree bark. It features a stunning, organic blend of vibrant sea green and deep turquoise tones, topped with subtle citrus-yellow inclusions near the rim.
True to early Mdina production, the vase features a completely flat, ground, and polished base and is unsigned. A beautiful, genuine piece of Mediterranean glass artistry that catches the light spectacularly.
