Vintage Paragon fine bone china teacup and saucer duo, featuring a rare and luxurious vibrant fuchsia/burgundy color field overlaid with a heavy, intricate gold filigree pattern. This exquisite "cabinet cup" showcases a beautiful, pristine central gold medallion inside the cup and at the center of the saucer, completed with an elegantly scalloped rim and a fully gilded handle.
Crafted in England between 1939 and 1949, this set features the prestigious Paragon "Double Royal Warrant" backstamp on the base, recognizing appointment to both HM Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother) and HM Queen Mary. It also features the authentic, handwritten factory pattern registry number "A927/1" in red on the bottom of the saucer. The angular hand-painted "9" can look slightly like a "5" to the untrained eye, but it is definitively the coveted A927 pattern series from this era.

Teacup: 12 cm wide with handle, 6 cm tall and 10 cm deep.
Saucer: 14 cm in diameter.
CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Both the cup and the saucer ring well when gently tapped. The heavy gold filigree overlay remains incredibly bright, brilliant, and crisp with negligible vintage surface wear.
