Gorgeous, highly collectible mid-century porcelain teapot manufactured by the renowned James Sadler & Sons in Staffordshire, England.
This piece features Sadler’s classic oval barrel-shaped body depicting a traditional British countryside fox hunting scene with horses, hounds, and riders. The vibrant transferware imagery is elegantly framed by ornate gold lustre detailing, complete with a lid topped with an elegant bow-shaped handle.
The base features the authentic printed "Crown & Banner" backstamp introduced in 1947 alongside hand-painted gold decorator marks, confirming its mid-century heritage.

Condition Details:
The exterior glaze and gold gilt accents are in good vintage condition with minimal surface wear. There are no chips or cracks anywhere on the main body of the teapot. There is one small, minor chip on the underside lip of the inner lid rim (fully documented in the photo gallery). This chip is completely concealed inside the pot when the lid is in place, meaning it does not alter the external display value or the functionality of the teapot.
