This rare vintage set of 5 demitasse coffee cups and matching saucers was crafted by the renowned Jiesia Porcelain Factory in Kaunas, Lithuania (Soviet era, circa 1970s). Featuring the iconic, minimalist "Bird on a Wire" (Птичка на проводах) pattern, this set beautifully captures the clean, graphic aesthetic of mid-century modern design.
Each piece is made from delicate, thin-walled white porcelain with elegant fluted/scalloped edges and finished with a striking hand-painted gold trim. The green oval "JIESIA" factory mark is present on the underside of every piece.
Dimensions:
• Cups: 5.5 cm height
• Saucers: 11.75 cm diameter
Weight: Approx 110 grams (each)
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold trim is remarkably intact with minimal rubbing, and the graphic illustrations remain crisp and vibrant. All 10 pieces ping well.
