Vintage hand-painted lidded trinket bowl.
Made in Japan during the mid-20th century, this piece features a vibrant yellow glazed background adorned with beautifully detailed, raised-relief cherubs playing in a lush garden landscape.
The design draws heavy inspiration from classic European Capodimonte and Majolica ceramics, resulting in a stunning Hollywood Regency-style statement piece. The lid fits securely, and the sides feature two ornate, gold-gilded handles. The bottom features a clear, authentic green stamped Torii Gate manufacturer mark reading "Hand Painted / MADE IN JAPAN."
