Antique 20th-century porcelain toast rack.
Featuring a classic 5-slot design with an elegant central ring handle, this exquisite piece is beautifully decorated with hand-painted, delicate pink five-petal wild roses (or apple blossoms), soft green foliage, and scrolling gold-gilded accents. A deep royal blue border trims the edges of the integrated rectangular base tray.
While the underside is completely unmarked—characteristic of imported porcelain blanks hand-decorated by independent studios during the Nippon export era (c. 1891–1921)—the exceptional artistry speaks for itself.
Beyond its traditional use for serving crisp breakfast toast, this versatile vintage piece makes a stunning tabletop accent, a luxury letter holder for a desk, or an elegant vanity organizer to display palette makeup or linens.
