Beautiful Swedish terrestrial globe from the 50s, manufactured by Columbus-Jordglob of Sweden in very good vintage condition consistent with its age and use. The globe has a wood base and a metal meridian circle, showing the territories of the Soviet Union, as well as the territorial regions, the ocean currents and the trade routes of the era. The cartographers are Dr. R. Neusse and C. Luther. The diameter of the globe is 13" (33 cm) and its height is 20" (50.8 cm).
