A good copy. This is the First Printing of the (Revised) Second Edition, published in 1971 by Thomas Y. Crowell, New York.
Octavo, cloth in dust jacket. Extensively illustrated (by the author). This second edition includes an added chapter, "The Alphabet Today".
The dust jacket spine has some toning and fading, as well as minor shelf wear and smallish chips missing. It is now protected in archival Mylar sheet.
